Human growth hormone or (HGH) is a substance that is produced in the body by the anterior pituitary gland. It helps regulate metabolism of body fat, and is key in repairing muscle and building new muscle. Bodybuilders have used HGH as a way to maintain muscle mass, and increase lean muscle mass.

There are many ways to naturally increase the human growth hormone in your body. One way is through exercise, intense workouts stimulate the body to make more HGH. High intensity sprinting has recently been found to stimulate the growth of HGH, and the key word here is high intensity. Exercise needs to be strenuous in order for the increase to be significant. Sleep is another way to stimulate your body's production of this hormone. HGH is very important within the body. This article is a great indicator of how people can boost their HGH levels. Getting 8 hours sleep is very difficult for many people.
